things i have achieved today:

- completed my first driving lesson without killing myself/anyone else. i got into third gear! THIRD GEAR.
- booked a first class train ticket from london for £10.55. I’VE NEVER BEEN IN FIRST CLASS. i’m going to drink as much free tea/coffee as it’s physically possible to consume in an hour and fourteen minutes.

that’s actually kind of it but as far as i’m concerned this is success all around.
