2002 / 2013
i saw finch in london last night and it was easily one of the most joyous, happy gigs i’ve ever been to. essentially the entire audience were made up of twenty somethings like myself who never got to see them live way back when. there was little to no better-than-thou snobbery, because basically we all reverted back ten years to when we there thirteen and what it is to burn was ingrained in our ears and souls. there were many, many emotional freakouts happening, it was bloody excellent. totally worth trekking to london for, and catching the last train back to cardiff and having to work a 7 hour shift on about 3 hours sleep. also, it may have been ten years since i first got the album, but nate barcalow you are still the one.
